Staff

The institute employs a staff of close to 90 people of different academic and administrative backgrounds. You will find a short presentation in English of the research personnel linked from the alfabeticical list.

NIFU focuses strongly upon the development of the theoretical and methodological expertise of the staff. About 40% possess a doctoral degree. NIFU's permanent staff has their backgrounds in sociology, political science, economics, the humanities, educational science, engineering/natural sciences, anthropology, and other social sciences. In 2007 the staff was engaged on 266 projects for clients in Norway and abroad.
