Frascati manual

Frascati-manualen

The Frascati manual is written by, and for the benefit of, the national experts on R&D statistics of the OECD member countries, who collect and process national R&D input data. Main concepts and terms are explained in the manual. Guidelines are presented for collecting and processing R&D data. Thus, the manual presents the common guidelines of the OECD member countries in order to obtain comparable R&D statistics across the country borders. The Frascati manual is published by OECD. The sixth edition was issued in 2002.

Frascati-manualen på norsk

In June 2004 excerpts of the sixth edition of the Frascati manual were translated into Norwegian at NIFU. The translation is available at the institute on request, and is also downloadable as a pdf document.
